Richard Bernard "Dick" Klann Sr., known by family and friends as Dicky and Uncle Fudd, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15th at the age of 83. A lifelong resident of Colorado, Richard was known for his love of the outdoors, his family, and the U.S. Postal Service. 

Born and raised in Colorado, Richard spent a good portion of his life enjoying the outdoors, being a dedicated family man, and agitating his wife (but only sometimes). He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a passionate geologist, and an enthusiastic golfer. While at home, he took great pride in his rose garden, his ponds, his yard, and loved to support his favorite football team: the Denver Broncos. 

Richard is preceded in death by his beloved wife Sharon, to whom he has married for 65 years, his father William Klann Sr., his mother Luella Klann, and his brother William (Bill) Klann Jr.. 

He is survived by his three children Laurie (Luke) O'Neil, Sue (Ed) Paukner, and Rick (Rose) Klann. Grandfather to Zach, Colton, Lexi, Justin, Tim, Angelica, and Alex. Great-Grandfather to Ellen, Ian, and River. 

Rest in peace, Uncle Fudd. You will be missed by all.
