Christine "Chrys" Frances Jared-Bjornson
November 24th, 1964 - October 3rd, 2025
Christine (Chrys) Frances Jared-Bjornson
Chrys suddenly passed away from us on October third. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, her four children, her mother, and her brother. She leaves behind broken hearts that will never mend, and leaves the world a darker place. She was a beacon of kindness, relentless optimism, and joy.
When her husband became disabled, she stepped up her art hobby into a career. She worked hard to help provide for her family, and touched many in her art community. Always ready to lend help, an ear, or just cheer on those that needed it. She was giving to a fault, and took in many waifs and strays over the years. She was the Dog Mother, and they followed her like a shadow.
Her creative skillset, involving that of; carpentry, stage design, sewing, 3D modeling, character posing, and a general artistic flair, made her a font of inspiration. Whenever one needed guidance in these fields, she was always there to take them under her wing. Beyond her talents as an artist, which seemed to have no end, she was an example to follow in that of kindness and goodwill. Her passing leaves a huge chasm.
She was an involved, caring mother, a loving, wonderful wife, a great friend, warmth and love personified.
She will be missed beyond comprehension. Farewell, my true love.
A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 pm on November 24th at Saltwater Unitarian Universalist Church, 25701 pl S, Des Moines, Washington
