September 16, 1936 – October 25, 2025
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Robert (Bob) Segerstrom at the age of 89 in Tucson, Arizona. Born in September of 1936, Bob lived in Tucson for 88 years, the city that he loved.
Bob graduated from the University of Arizona in 1960 and began his career with Southern Arizona Bank. During this time, he served six years in the Arizona Air Guard. After a 35-year career, Bob retired in 1994 from Wells Fargo Bank as a vice president.
A fun-loving drinker with a sailing habit, Bob was an active member of the Tucson Sailing Club. He treasured the adventures he shared with family and friends in the Gulf of California, creating lasting memories and a close-knit circle of friends that remained throughout his life.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Dorothy Segerstrom (nee Stanley), and their two sons, Ronald (Ron) Segerstrom (Jamie) and Richard (Rick) Segerstrom (Karen). His family will always remember him for his unwavering love, guidance, and commitment to family values.
In this time of grief, we honor the remarkable life of Bob Segerstrom. He will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his fun-loving spirit and commitment to family. A burial service will be held on Friday, October 31st, 2025 at Holy Hope cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Peppi’s House Hospice in Bob's honor.
