William (Bill) Kenneth Ulibarri Sr.October 2, 1951 – October 25, 2025With hearts full of love and gratitude for the life he lived, the family of William (Bill) Kenneth Ulibarri Sr., age 74, announces his passing on October 25, 2025, as he went home to be with the Lord.Bill was born in Pueblo, Colorado, and raised in Trinidad, Colorado. Shortly after high school, he moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he met the love of his life, Sandra (Sam) Witiuk, at a dance at the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. The two were inseparable from that day forward and were married on November 2, 1970.A devoted husband, father, Pops, brother, and friend, Bill was known for his kindness, strength, and unwavering sense of family. He worked in stucco for over 40 years, earning a well-deserved reputation as a fair, honest, and hard-working man who took pride in everything he did.Bill was preceded in death by his beloved mother Viola, grandmother Grace, uncle Joe, and grandson Jason. He is survived by his beautiful wife Sam, and their four children: Christina and Kyle Madole, William Jr., Stephan Sr. and Erica, and Amanda Ulibarri. His grandchildren Alex (Jamie), Antoinette (Drayggo), Johnathan, Chlorissa, Mindy, Luciano (Fallon), Jacob (Amber), Destiny, Aaliyah (Ethan), Elijah, Stephan Jr. and Penelope; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Estrella, Drayggo, Zaidyn, Utaivyas, Analise, Donnie, Meadow, and Ellie, with another, Jackson, arriving soon. He is also lovingly remembered by his in-laws Christine (Clifford), Michael, and John (Nicolle), as well as a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who all knew they could count on Bill for anything because that’s simply who he was.Family was always at the center of Bill’s life. He taught by example by showing up, lending a hand, and offering unconditional love. His greatest joy came from being surrounded by those he loved, and his legacy of faith, generosity, and family will continue to live on through them.A Celebration of Life Potluck will be held at his daughter’s home on Saturday, November 22nd, at 1:00 p.m.The family invites everyone to bring their favorite memories of Bill, written down so they can be collected and made into a memory book for Sam, in honor of the incredible man they were blessed to love. “Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
