Obituary for Dolores Marie “Dee” Riggert

May 9, 1943 – November 1, 2025

Dolores Marie Riggert (née Paglio), lovingly known as Dee, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, at the age of 82. Born on May 9, 1943, in Cranston, Dee was the daughter of the late Thomas and Nancy Paglio.

Dee was the devoted widow of Donald Riggert. She was a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose bold and spunky spirit touched all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children:

  • David King and his wife Kim, along with their children Ashley, Amanda, Aimee, Nick, and Noah;
  • Cory Morrocco and her husband William, and their children William and his wife Kaitlin, their daughters Lana and Adelaide, and Bradley Morrocco;
  • Sharron Anania-Riley and her husband Mike Riley, and their children Adrian Anania, Jonathan Anania, Alexander Anania, and Miranda Riley;
  • Sharlene Wandell and her husband Paul Wandell.

Dee was predeceased by her siblings Joanne, Nancy, Thomas, and Charles. She is survived by her brother John, as well as many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will hold her memory close to their hearts.

Dee’s greatest joys in life were her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren; spending a day in the sun by the swimming pool; riding in her beloved golf cart; and the many dogs she cherished over the years. She will be remembered for her bold, spunky personality, her love of family, and the happiness she brought into every life she touched.

Dee will be buried in Lincoln, Nebraska, alongside her loving husband, Donald. Services will be private and held at a later date.

Her legacy of love, laughter, and family devotion will live on in all who were fortunate to know her.
