Keith Brian Ludlam
February 23rd, 1958 - October 25th, 2025
Keith Ludlam, 67, passed away at his home on October 25, 2025, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born on February 23, 1958, in Kingston, New York. Keith graduated from Cheyenne Mountain High School in 1976. On November 24, 1989 Keith and Pam chose each other to share their lives together in marriage where they made a commitment to God and their family to love each other through good times and bad times. Together they built a family that brought Keith immense pride and joy. Keith retired in 2023 after a career of jobs from truck driving to accounting. Over the years, he worked at the Broadmoor, Southland Corp (where he met Pam), Diocese of Colorado Springs, and Mountain States Pipe & Supply. Keith lived a life marked by deep connections to family and a lasting love for music.
He was the beloved son of Ruth Callender (Tackett) and Step-Father Charles Callender, and the late Lloyd Ludlam and Step-Mother Holly Ludlam. Keith is survived by his wife, Pamela Ludlam (Fretty). son Matthew Ludlam, daughter Julie Jordan (Ludlam) married to Derek Jordan, and grandchildren Carmelo, Madison, and Dustin. He is also survived by his brothers Allen (passed in 2025) and Michael, Aunt Linda Foraker, Uncle John Foraker, Uncle Larry Tackett, Uncle Winfred Tackett, cousin Greg Foraker and several nieces and nephews.
Keith grew up in Colorado Springs alongside his brothers Allen and Michael and shared a bond that remained an important part of Keith’s life story. In his late teenage years he was involved in a motorcycle accident that left him in a coma for several days but with many prayers from family and friends and pushing through many challenges and obstacles of learning to walk and talk again, he became a better and stronger man.
Music played a central role throughout Keith’s life. Whether listening to favorite songs or sharing tunes with others, his passion for music was ever-present and brought joy to those around him.
Keith's memory will be treasured by all who knew him—his family, friends, and those whose lives he touched along the way. May his memory bring comfort and peace to those who mourn his passing.
A Memorial Service will be Friday November 14, 2025 at 10:00am at Chapel of our Saviour Episcopal Church - 8 4th St, Colorado Springs, CO 80906
