Scott Dee Andrew
January 15th, 1968 - October 31st, 2025
Scott D. Andrew died after a short illness on October 31, 2025, at the age of 57 at his home in Mesa, Arizona.
Scott is survived by his wife, Kristin (Christensen); his children, Tayler Green (Andrew), and Mitchell Andrew (Madalyn Brooks); and two brothers, Mark and Jeff Andrew. He is preceded in death by his parents Dee and Tee Andrew.
Scott grew up in Menan, Idaho and graduated from Rigby High School in 1986. He served an LDS mission in Recife, Brazil. After returning from his mission, Scott enrolled at Utah State University where he met his sweetheart and graduated with a BS degree in Finance. Scott and Kristin were married in the Idaho Falls Idaho LDS Temple on December 17, 1993. They welcomed a daughter, Tayler K., in 1995 and a son, Mitchell Scott, in 1999.
Scott had a lifelong passion for aviation. He logged thousands of hours in the sky and spent years sharing his knowledge as a respected flight instructor. He inspired countless students to chase their own dreams of flight. Whether in the cockpit, the classroom or among family, his humor and unwavering never-quit attitude left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
Scott’s legacy will continue on through his family, the many pilots he trained and the lives he touched along the way.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the LDS Meetinghouse in Grover, Wyoming. He will be buried in the Afton Cemetery immediately after.
Instead of flowers, we'd love for you to consider contributing to a savings account through Desert Financial for the Andrew Grandchild Education Fund. Scott believed in chasing your dreams, and this fund is a way to make dreams possible.
