A Life Lived Full Throttle
James Dallas Bonjour Jr. Born December 7th,1959 in Ft Wayne Indiana, passed away in Tucson Az, on October 30th, 2025. At the age of 65, James left behind a life full of love, laughter, and horsepower.
James was a husband of 43 years to his beloved wife Denise, a devoted father to James (Aradne), Cody (Tawneey), Tracie (Matthew), and Briana (Christopher), and a proud grandfather to fourteen grandchildren who lit up his world
.A man of many talents and an incredible work ethic. James worked as a mechanic, gunsmith, bartender, and truck driver, always ready to tackle any challenge head on. His hands were always busy and his mind always curious.
A man who never shied away from a challenge, James could fix almost anything — from engines to everyday problems. Whatever he did, he gave it his all, always ready to jump in with both feet.
Cars were his passion, and not just any cars — classic muscle cars. James loved the roar of the engine, the smell of gasoline, and the thrill of drag racing. He built, polished, showed and raced them with a dedication that was pure art and pure joy. He loved sharing that passion with friends and family.
James had a heart as big as his engines. He could make anyone feel welcome. Friends and family knew him as a man who lived life loudly, fully, and unapologetically.
A celebration of James’s life will be held at Adair Funeral Home on November 7th, 2025. Viewing at 11am. Celebration of Life at 12pm He may have left the track of this world, but his spirit races on in every engine rev, every family gathering, and every story shared about him.
"Go big or go home."
