Chelsea L. Horton
January 14th, 1999 - October 30th, 2025
Chelsea L. Horton AKA “Wild Child”, 26, of Fonda, NY passed away unexpectedly on October 30, 2025. She was born January 14, 1999 in Gloversville, daughter of Amy White Carlson and Matthew Horton.
She was a wonderful mother of two Beautiful boys Jaxcyn Perkins and Kyzen Taylor.
She had the drive to push herself to achieve graduation a year early before pursuing an 8 year career with visiting nurses. Where she found herself a wonderful friend and Employer Ryan Wilson.
Chelsea had a vivid imagination, creativity and passion for art as she would draw and paint to express herself. This started when Chelsea was a small child. This in turn had lead to her interest in tattooing, many of her friends and family have a piece of her creativity to carry with them.
Everyone who knew her loved her flamboyant fashion sense, bright colors, prints with stripes…. Everything was acceptable, and possibilities were endless what she would show up wearing.
Her heart was full of love for anyone who needed anything. She had a selfless-compassion to give to others before herself. Chelsea’s love for music was shared to every who came in contact with her, this was her way to express herself without saying a thing.
She enjoyed taking hikes with the kids letting them enjoy the outdoors to explore. She was avid to go to parks and lakes for swimming and sharing quality time with them.
She is survived by her sons Jaxcyn Perkins, Kyzen Taylor, mother Amy (Martin) Carlson, father Matthew (Tonya) Horton, brothers Kenneth Horton, Eric Williams, Andrew Williams (Lindsey), Anthony Williams, Colbie Carlson, sister Taylor Young (Chris) along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents.
