Gloria Harpe Brown, 80 of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina passed away peacefully at her home on November 4, 2025. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Her presence will be deeply missed.
Gloria was born in Macon, Georgia on April 28, 1945, to Marthelle Morris Harpe and Edward Milton Harpe. She dedicated her life to her family and her passion for socializing with her friends. Her infectious laughter and loving spirit brightened the lives of all who knew her.
Gloria is survived by her husband Bernie Brown of Hilton Head, her children Robyn Price Soos (Gyula), Michael Morris Price (Amber), Dana Harpe Blanchard (Tom) and stepchildren Chris Brown (Chrystie), Todd Brown (Nicole). Her siblings Elsie H. Waddy of Hilton Head and Edward Taylor Harpe of Fernandina Beach Florida. Gloria had 10 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
A family graveside service will be held on Sunday November 9 at 3:00 pm in Dublin Georgia at Northview Cemetery.
A celebration of Life will be held on Hilton Head Island on a later date TBD.
