Donna Mae Messmer, 93, passed away on November 4, 2025 at Jefferson Memory Care.
Born on February 15, 1932 to Harlow & Gilma (Mielke) Block.
She married Robert Messmer at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Donna enjoyed her pets, watching westerns, and puzzle books.
Donna is survived by her brother, Ted (Eunice) Block and Terri (Dennis) Carnes; as well as nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Donna is preceded in death by her husband Robert Messmer; her parents, Harlow & Gilma Block; her sister, Patricia Block; her brothers, Harlow Block and Robert Block; her sister-in-law, Judy Block; and her nephew, Jerrod Block.
Private family services will be held.
The family thanks Jefferson Memory Care and Rainbow Community Care.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Rainbow Community Care in memory of Donna Messmer.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nitardy Funeral Home.

In 1984, his son Russ knew it was time to offer professional, compassionate services to the Fort Atkinson community, and we constructed a new funeral home to address its needs. We feel so fortunate to be a part of the community, and have grown our family alongside the community for three generations....
