It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eddie Jaynes, who departed this life on November 8, 2025, in Sterling, Virginia. Born on August 25, 1951, in Costa Rica and raised in Panama, Eddie moved to Arlington, Virginia, at the age of 13.

His journey through life was marked by a deep passion for learning and a commitment to his family and friends. Eddie was a devoted husband to Isabel and shared a special bond with his sister, Rose Romesberg, and niece, Lorraine Sutphin. Kind-hearted, humorous, and loyal, Eddie was known for his honesty, curiosity and sense of humor. He possessed a unique ability to connect with people, always engaging with sincerity and warmth. His interests were wide-ranging; he found great joy in reading, particularly books related to wines, politics, military history and his Catholic faith. The family kindly requests any condolences be sent directly to the Funeral Home. Eddie will be remembered for his laughter and joy he brought into the lives of those who knew him.
