Lisa M. Willis of Columbia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025 after a courageous battle against lymphoma. The daughter of George Willis III and Jo Ella Walker Willis of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is survived by her parents, a brother, George Willis IV, two nephews and a niece, all of Myrtle Beach.
She was employed as a graphic designer by the Post & Courier and for 31 years was instrumental in the production of Free Times, the alternative Arts and Entertainment newspaper for the Midlands. She studied Art at the University of South Carolina and was an avid reader of political history and current events.
