Brian Andrew Lindgren "Jynx" 45, passed away on September 30, 2025, in Olympia, Washington, the city where he was born and spent most of his life. He was born on December 5, 1979.

Brian was a lifelong learner with a curious mind and a passion for knowledge. He attended New Century and Puget Sound High Schools.  He also attended Angell Job Corps where he completed their forestry program before continuing his education at DeVry University. At the time of his passing, he was actively enrolled in online college courses, always striving to grow and challenge himself.

Brian had a vibrant personality marked by a great sense of humor and an unforgettable laugh. Those who knew him remember his deep care for others—he loved his family, friends, and cats with unwavering devotion. His warmth extended beyond people to animals as well; he shared his home with four beloved cats and cherished the memory of Azrael, who preceded him in death.

He found joy in simple pleasures and creative pursuits. Brian loved chopping firewood and gathering around campfires with Erin Carolan—his longtime companion—and their friends. He was an avid fan of Magic: The Gathering, comic books, anime, and drawing. Comic-cons were among his favorite events to attend, where he could immerse himself in the worlds he adored. A dedicated thrift shopper, Brian delighted in discovering hidden treasures during his outings. In 2012, Brian contributed to organizing a Zombiepocolypse event aimed at raising awareness and funds for the Wounded Warrior Project—a cause that reflected his generous spirit and desire to make a difference.

Brian is survived by many who loved him dearly: his mother Valerie Anundson; brother Daniel Lindgren and sister-in-law Kara; nieces Vivian and Kallie; nephew Dean; aunts Lavonne Anundson, and Krissy (Jordyn) Mitchell; cousins Jory, Peyton, Connor, and Rylee; adopted father Gordon Lindgren; biological father Randy Baker; longtime companion Erin Carolan; their four cats; and many other family members and friends whose lives were touched by his kindness.

He was preceded in death by his much-loved grandparents William and Pearl Anundson as well as numerous other beloved family members—and Azrael the cat.
