William Case Buck II (CASEY) went to be with the lord on October 20, 2025. He had been battling Parkinson’s with Lewy Body Dementia for a long time. There will be a service at Crossroads Community Covenant Church on November 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM, located at 11520 Bald Hill RD SE, YELM, WA.
Casey was born August 9,1952, to William Case Buck and Catherine Cheney in Seattle, WA. In 1971, he graduated from Mt. Rainier High School in Des Moines, WA. He joined the Navy in 1971 and was honorably discharged in 1972. He graduated from Highline JR. College: Central Washington University in Ellensburg with a B.A. in speech and drama and a Master of Arts degree from Pacific Lutheran University.
In 1982, Casey married Lee Ann Garred in Buckley. Casey had the opportunity to teach for many years in Washington State, and 9 years in the Northwest Arctic School District in Alaska, where he was also an administrator. Casey was also an associate / youth Covenant pastor in Des Moines and years later one of the pastors at Yelm’s Crossroads Community Covenant Church.
Casey leaves behind his wife Lee Ann Buck; son Philip Stegman (Marisa); daughters Miranda Summerlin (Stephen) and Devin N. Jones, M.D.; as well as brother Curtis Buck (Marla), sisters Loralea Hildner, Shannon Martinson (Craig), Maureen Thacher (Greg), brother-in-law Henry Biernacki. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews (all greatly loved). He was preceded in death by his sister Cathleen Biernacki and brother-in-law Richard Hildner.
Casey Buck was an incredible Christian man. He will be missed by all that had the opportunity to get to know him.
