Lenard S. Keene (Steve), 72, of Valrico, Florida passed away peacefully on October 23, 2025. Steve was born in Tampa, November 14, 1952. After graduating from King High School, Steve pursued a career in the electrical industry, a trade he loved. He worked for Gardinier, Gulf Tampa Dry-dock, Hendry Dredging, Garba Industrial, and St. Joseph hospital. He loved keep fit and competed in many long distance running races over the years.
Steve was pre-deceased by his parents Clarence and Katheryn and his brother, Ricky. He is survived by his daughter Kayla (Alex); grandson, Jackson; sister, Annette and brother David (Lana). Steve will be sorely missed by his many friends.
A Celebration of Life service to honor Steve will take place on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at 1pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd. Land O’ Lakes, Fl. 34639. Family and Friends may gather from 12:30pm to start of service.
