Robert “Chance” Whitehall, born January 7, 1973, in Fort Worth, TX, passed away on November 8, 2025, in Tampa, FL. He is survived by his wife, Erin; sons, Ethan and Colin; mother, Cheryl Odom; and stepfather, Jim Odom. He was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Whitehall, and father, Bill Whitehall. A Boswell High School graduate of 1991, Chance attended Tarrant County Junior College before serving in the Air Force as an aircraft mechanic and helicopter crew chief. He later spent years in the produce industry and, more recently, in the medical field assisting patients. Energetic and funny, Chance loved to entertain, especially singing karaoke, and took great pride in his boys. He enjoyed chatting with friends, relaxing with a beer, watching the news for hours, and finding humor wherever he could. A memorial service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home in Land O’ Lakes on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. The family will receive guests from 12pm to the start of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend time with loved ones—whether by dining out, watching a movie, or simply enjoying each other’s company.
