Rhonda Marie Neuman passed away unexpectedly in her home on October 29, 2025 at the age of 71.
Rhonda was born on May 1, 1954 in Minnesota to Robert and Margaret (Margo) Riggs. She resided in Tucson, Arizona for most of her life and attended Sunnyside High School and graduated from the University of Arizona. She went on to enjoy a long and dedicated career working over 30 years at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base – the majority spent as an analyst at AMARC (Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Center).
Rhonda is survived by her half-brother Richard Lee (Bob) Brown and half-sister Constance Palmer. She is proceeded in death by her mother and father and her younger brother Jerry Riggs. She is also survived by her former husband and lifelong friend Jack Neuman.
Rhonda loved dogs. Her life was enriched by her lifelong passion for dogs, and she did not feel complete if she wasn’t constantly surrounded by their love and devotion. She was a passionate advocate for animal welfare and an avid supporter of many animal rescue groups. She could never turn away a dog in need and her dogs Ariel, Zoey, Kaylee, and Boo are a testament to that. They were her greatest joy, and they will continue to be loved and cherished in her honor.
Graveside services for Rhonda will be held at 12 pm (noon) on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at East Lawn Palms Cemetery, 5801 East Grant Road, Tucson, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, Rhonda would appreciate nothing more than a donation made in her honor to Friends of Pima Animal Care Center https://www.friendsofpacc.org/ or a local animal rescue organization of your choice.
