Carol Jeanne Finta
November 21st, 1942 - November 11th, 2025
Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Alex. She is survived by daughters Anita (Don) Sanz and Noel Finta, son Christopher (Alana) Finta, granddaughters Katherine (Tom) Hastings and Hayley Sanz, grandson Christopher Johnson, great-granddaughters Adilyn, Harper, Laurel, Dorothy, and Eloise Hastings, and her sister Phyllis (Robert) Thompson.
Carol was born on November 21, 1942, in North Carolina to Eric and Billie Luckert. She lived in many places over her lifetime, as her father was US Air Force, as well as her husband. She met her husband in 1962 at Florida State University, and after they graduated, they married and traveled the world, where the USAF took them. They raised three children together and moved to remain close to their grandchildren.
Carol was a brilliant student and was an avid reader, always studying and learning new things. She was a homemaker much of her life, but also her husband's secretary for his business after he retired from the military. She was the epitome of a true lady and always presented herself so.
Carol will be missed by those who came to know her and were touched by her quiet grace.
