Larissa was born in Longmont, Colorado on February 12,1988 to Mark D. and Lori K. Scheidt. Larissa has also lived in Greeley, CO, Miami, FL, Johnson City, TN and Bluffton, SC. Her sudden departure leaves a deep void in the lives of those who knew and loved her, in other words, everyone.

She also attended NE State Community College and worked at her father’s company, TechniPak,LLC for several years. Larissa then worked as the store manager for National Coatings and Supplies in Kingsport, TN. During this time, she was also responsible for caring for 12 German Shepherds, some of which were trained to become K-9’s in the Police Department. She loved these dogs!
In 2020 Larissa worked at Performance Watersports in Johnson City, TN. She loved the work there and the people!
In 2024 Larissa moved to Bluffton, SC with her sister Morgan for a change of scenery and to be nearer to her mom. Larissa and Morgan shared a condominium and were the best of friends. Larissa worked at O’Reilly Auto Parts in Bluffton, SC until the time of her death. She also loved this job and the people there and loved being the woman in a man’s world!
Larissa leaves behind to cherish her memory her mother, Lori K. Bailey, her husband Scott Bailey, Hilton Head Island, SC. Her Sister Jennifer and husband Joe Huss, Gulf Shores, AL. Her Sister Morgan Scheidt, Bluffton, SC. Her Niece Jenea Huss, Nephew’s R.J. and Nathan Huss all of Gulf Shores, AL. Her Aunt and Uncle, Lori J. and Scott A. Leinweber of Loveland, CO. Larissa was a true angel on earth. She was kind and caring to everyone and had no enemies. She loved unconditionally and was a bright light in everyone’s life that was blessed to know her. She will be truly missed.
Larissa loved people and loved animals. She was a regular donator to ASPCA and absolutely hated animal abuse. If you would like to give a donation in her memory, you can do so by visiting aspca.org/memory to make a gift online. My email is [email protected]
For those of you that did not know, Larissa suffered most of her life with Bi-Polar Disorder. It was very difficult to manage and was like being on a see-saw, up and down, up and down. She handled it as best she could, but it became too much. If you know someone with this disease, don’t give up on them! Love them through it. You will be blessed as we were. Larissa is finally in total peace and with her favorite people, her dad and her daughter. We are also at peace knowing she won’t suffer anymore.
