Douglas W. Squire,75, of Port Charlotte, FL died Saturday November 1, 2025, at his home. He was born in Bloomfield, NJ to the late Mabel and Warren Squire. He lived in Fort Lauderdale, FL before moving to Port Charlotte, FL in 2009. His love of sailing provided him with not only a career but also many travel adventures. He was self-employed as a marine electrician. He combined his loves of photography and motor sports. He had a photo published in Motor Sports Magazine.
Predeceased by his brother Gary Squire. He is survived by his brother Jeffrey Squire and his wife Michele of Helmetta, NJ, sister Marianne Squire-Maszer of South River, NJ, sister Patricia McSherry and her husband Keith of Sykesville, MD, five nieces and nephews, Brandi, Jessica, Alyssa, Matthew, and Andrew, seven great nieces and nephews, Megan, Robert, Oakley, Jack, Wyatt, Mason and Colin.
Final disposition is private.
