Lois Kathleen (Droubie) Gergen

Born on August 23, 1940, she left this world peacefully on November 15, 2025. She is preceded in death by her beloved Daughter Karen Gergen Thuente; Granddaughter Eleanor; Parents Victor and Christine; Son-in-law Thomas Johnson; and Brothers Thomas Droubie and Joe Droubie.

She is survived by her devoted Husband Stephen Gergen, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage. She is also lovingly remembered by her children Tracy Johnson, Stephen Gergen Jr., Laura (Corbin) Lacina, Jeanne Gergen, and Katie (Andy) Penson; Son-in-Law, John (Nora) Thuente. 

Her memory lives on in her cherished grandchildren—Tommy, Mikey, Joey, Augie, Maddie, Nick, Justin, Marta, Edward, Ben, Jake, Ryan, Jack, Sophia, Leah, John John, Claire, Jordan, Maria, and Benny, and her precious great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Paddy, Danny, Luke, Liam, Teddy, James, and Sophie.

She loved all her siblings deeply, Bob, Gary, Tom, Linda, Brenda, Kristi, and Joe, as well as her loving parents, Victor and Christine Droubie. She had great love for her Gergen family as well.

She made so many lifelong friends and will be missed by so many. She found joy in gardening, cooking, swimming, and spending warm, sunny days at the lake. She was loved deeply by many and will be missed beyond measure. She was a master gardener, an amazing cook, artistic in many ways, and loved everyone with all her heart.
