**Obituary for Karen F. Berney**

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Karen F. Berney, who left us on November 14, 2025, due to Alzheimer’s Disease at the age of 72. Born on March 3, 1953, in St. Louis, Missouri, Karen was a warm-hearted soul with an infectious smile who touched the lives of all who knew her.

Always outgoing and jovial, she had an innate ability to spread happiness wherever she went. Whether it was sharing a laugh or lending a listening ear, Karen's presence was a gift to those she loved.

She was proud to be a  employee of Boeing, taking immense pride in her work. Karen was always was a good friend to all who were blessed to meet her. 

Karen's greatest joy was found in her companionship with her beloved dog, Darla. The two were inseparable, sharing countless adventures and cozy evenings together. Her love for Darla illuminated a lot of her life and resonated with her deep affection for all of her loved ones.

She is survived by her sister, nieces, and extended family, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever. Karen was preceded in death by her parents and her younger brother, who she missed dearly, who welcomed her with open arms in the embrace of eternity.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory, supporting the ongoing fight against this heartbreaking disease.

 As we remember Karen, let us celebrate her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and the countless joyful moments she brought into our lives. She forever remains a cherished friend and a loving family member, and her laughter will continue to echo in our hearts.
