Memorial

James Warron Morgan, a gentle soul whose kindness touched everyone fortunate enough to know him, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Agapa Hospice House in Goose Creek, South Carolina. He was 79 years old. James was born on June 30, 1946, in Pennsylvania. From a young age, he carried a quiet strength and a sincere desire to care for others—qualities that would shape the course of his life. At just 18 years old, he answered the call to serve his country, joining the United States Army on October 26, 1964. During his years of service, James worked as a Surgical Technician, offering steady hands and a compassionate heart to those in need. He was honorably discharged on September 28, 1967, carrying with him both pride in his service and a lifelong respect for those who serve. James built a life defined by love, loyalty, and deep companionship. His life partner, James Williams, whom he cherished dearly, passed away in October 2024. Their bond was one of unwavering support and shared joy, a partnership that brought meaning and comfort to James throughout his life. Though his immediate family circle grew smaller over the years, James remained closely connected to those he loved. His nephew, Jason Thompson, and cousin Carol Buchong survives him and remember him fondly. James also found profound friendship and chosen family in Wes and Teri Vinson, and Leasa Tubbs, whose care, laughter, and presence brightened his later years. They, along with other close friends, will miss him deeply. James will be remembered for his gentle humor, his thoughtful conversations, and the steady kindness he offered without hesitation. He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, leaving a quiet but lasting imprint on the lives he touched. Those who knew and loved him take comfort in knowing he is reunited with his beloved partner and that his life was one lived with dignity, warmth, and love. May his memory be a blessing to all who carry it. We love and miss you, Mr. Jim.
