Nguyen Thi Dua, 93, of Tucson, AZ, passed away of old age peacefully in her sleep at home on November 11, 2025.
She was born in Saigon, Vietnam in 1932 and was the eldest of three siblings. She and her husband Lam Binh Con managed a very successful import/export business in Vietnam until the fall of Saigon to communism in 1975, after which they migrated to the USA in 1983 with the family and started over.
Nguyen Thi Dua was a devoted mother to her eight children, her pride and joy. She always said their birth changed her life for the better, and they felt that in the love and support she provided. She had fond memories of family vacation trips to Vung Tau, Vietnam and took special joy in stressing the importance of education and self-respect.
She smartly managed a large family with love and care throughout her life, and was well respected by everyone in her community with her poise and dignity. A lifelong and devoted Buddhist, she donated generously throughout her life to temples and supported Buddhism for good causes.
Nguyen Thi Dua was preceded in death by husband Lam Binh Con, and sons Lam Khang Hy and Lam Khang Dan, and is survived by the family who will never forget the love she brought to their lives:

Daughter - Lam My Le of Montreal/Canada, husband Vo Van Luong, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren
Daughter-in-law - Lam Kim Hoa of Arizona (wife of Hy), 2 grandchildren
Daughter - Lam My Huong of California, husband Phu Du Long, 2 grandchildren
Son - Lam Khang Luong of California, wife Le Huy To Quy, 2 grandchildren
Daughter-in-law - Quang Khanh Trang (wife of Dan) of Massachusetts, 4 grandchildren
Son - Lam Khang Thai of Arizona, wife Lam Ha Cuc, 2 grandchildren
Daughter - Lam My Ha of Arizona, 2 grandchildren
