Cathy Lee Allen, formerly of Gloversville and Johnstown, died November 14, 2025 at Nathan Littauer Nursing Home. 

She was born December 27, 1951 in Gloversville, NY, the daughter of the late Donald Sleezer and Ruth Morgan Sleezer. She was also predeceased by the father of her children, Martin Jones 3rd (MDP), uncle Frankie Ahrens, uncle Lenard Davis, and sister in law Marion Sleezer.

Cathy has worked for many places including: First Niagara Bank, Video World (her favorite), the Nathan Littauer Nursing Home, Coleco and others.

She loved her Pepsi. She won a contest at the Fonda Fair called the Pepsi Challenge in the 70's. She loved watching movies, with Dirty Dancing being her favorite. She also enjoyed watching a good tv show. She loved watching Criminal Minds, Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren very much.  

Cathy is survived by her children: Martin Jones IV, Melissa (Kevin Shaver) Walker, and Kristy (Bobby Bishop) Hollister; her siblings: Donald Sleezer, Richard (Shirley) Sleezer and Karen (George) Romeyn and aunts: Shirley Ahrens and Janet Davis. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger and Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. All are invited to attend her funeral service at the funeral home following at 6:00 p.m.
