Lindley Neal Richmond of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed into his Lord’s loving arms on November 13, 2025, in Albuquerque, NM. He was a strong 84 years old. And in his last hours he was surrounded by many members of his family who traveled from across America to be with him. A celebration of life service was held on November 14th.

Neal was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on October 9, 1941, to William Delbert Richmond and Lois La Rue (Neeld) Richmond, both of which predeceased him. He was the second of three children. His older sister, Claudia Lundberg and her husband Bill, predeceased him. Claudia and Bill are survived by their three boys, Will, Scott and Todd Lundberg. Neal is also survived by his younger sister Janie who is married to John Hopkins. Janie and John have two daughters, Julie Russell and Jenna Hobbs.

Shortly after graduating from Old High in Wichita Falls, Neal married Darla Gale (Hanvey) Kitchen also of Wichita Falls. They had three children together, Amy Denise Lane and Gregory Neal Richmond, both born in Wichita Falls, and Sean David Richmond, born in San Antonio, Texas. Neal later remarried Jeannette Leigh Jack, with whom he was still wed at his passing.

Amy is married to Wendell Lane who now live in Colorado near their two children, daughter Maggie Hope Lane and son Taylor Anderson Lane. Maggie and husband Paul Linnenburger has three girls, Jonhana Mary, Poppy Hazel and Scarlett Grace Linnenburger. Taylor is married to Jillian (Bernardy) Lane.

Tucker and wife Amber, live in Florida, and have two daughters, Ella Jane and Hattie Michaela Richmond. Layne, Grace, and Graham live in Georgia. Grace has one son, James Bruce Richmond. Graham and wife Abby have one son, Nolan Neal Richmond.

Sean and wife Laura Richmond live in Texas and have five children, Molly Lee Otey, Annie Kate Sloan, Jonathan David Richmond, Samuel Davis Richmond and Isaac Elmer Richmond. Molly and husband Nate live in Massachusetts and have two daughters, Fia Grace and Annaliese Hope Otey. Annie and husband Jacob Sloan live in Texas and have one daughter, Brighton Liz Sloan. Jonathan and wife Camryn, as well as Samuel, and Isaac all live in Texas.

Neal will be remembered as a lifetime Harley Owners Group (HOG) member, an extraordinary entrepreneur and a self-made man. He just wouldn't stop. He experienced both success and failure, but like all great entrepreneurs, failures did not deter him. He kept moving forward. He had family to provide for, protect, and love.

Neal began his professional journey as a brick mason, a skill he inherited from his father, starting in Wichita Falls before expanding his career to Dallas, Texas. His trajectory in construction evolved from manual labor to construction management and real estate development, where he truly found his professional calling. Throughout the Southwest, Neal established himself as a versatile builder, working with prominent organizations such as Trammel Crow in Dallas, Jim Walter Homes in Corpus Christi, and First National Bank and Galaxy Builders in San Antonio. He demonstrated exceptional expertise in building a diverse range of properties, including single-family homes, apartments, and commercial space. A defining achievement in Neal's career was overseeing the construction of the inaugural dormitory building at the University of Texas San Antonio, which showcased his comprehensive skills and professional reputation.

Neal was also a man of faith. His mother was the significant ambassador for Christ in his life, and he and Darla shared their Christian faith with their children, who are now sharing it with theirs. We are certain that a great cloud of witnesses is rejoicing over the name of Lindley Neal Richmond this very hour.

Well done, Pop Pop. Many love you and will miss you. We will see you soon.
