Mary Katheryn "Katie" Williams
Mary Katheryn "Katie" Williams, 88, of Shelton, Washington, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. She was born on February 14, 1937, in San Antonio, Texas, to Samuel and Henrietta Miller.
Katie spent her early childhood in San Antonio before moving to Medina, Texas, as a teenager. She started her successful career in management in Bandera, Texas. She moved to Washington State to continue her career before retiring to the community of Shelton, Washington, where she spent her final years. Katie was a member of the Unity Church.
Katie was preceded in death by her beloved son, Raymond Milford O'Brian; her parents, Samuel and Henrietta Miller; her brother, Bo Miller; her sister, Martha Crum; and her husband’s Dugan O’Brian, Donald Ray Williams, Wilford Anderwald, and Larry McEacheran.
Katie is survived by her four devoted children: Cyndi Lounsbury and her husband Steven and family of Shelton, Washington; Robin Nault and her husband Duane of Shelton, Washington; Kathy Martin and her husband Robert of Puyallup, Washington; and Dr. Scott Anderwald and his wife Anna of Houston, Texas. She leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Diandra Arellano of Pearland, Texas; Brian Ray Nault of New Orleans, Louisiana; Kay Martin of Puyallup, Washington; Chaia Martin of Seattle, Washington; Grace Martin of Puyallup, Washington; and Logan Anderwald of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by her nieces, Debbie Chandler of New Braunfels, Texas, and Maryetta Crum of Shertz, Texas.
Katie had a passion for traveling, admiring Texas bluebonnets, watching red cardinals, and learning about history. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
