NORTHVILLE-Charles M. Ostrander, 90, passed away at Mountain Valley Hospice on November 14, 2025. He was born in Cherry Valley, the son of the late Thomas and Florence Davis Ostrander. 

 

He was predeceased by his daughter Jacquelyn Brower and great granddaughters Sadieanna Bayless and Moneek Garrett. He is also predeceased by his siblings August Ostrander, Adeloph Ostrander, Alexander Ostrander, Victor Ostrander, Genevieve Ostrander, Alvah Ostrander and Harmon Ostrander.

 

Charles was an Honorably Discharged Army Veteran, serving from 1954-1956. He attended Mayfield School. He was a Logger, working for various companies in the area. 

 

Charles is survived by his wife Glendora of 68 years; his children Kebin Ostrander, Florence (Leon) Sweet, Fawn (David) Noordenbos and Charles (Jamie) Ostrander. His grandchildren Bo Ostrander, Jessica McLaurin, Sierra (Kevin) Ovitt and Brian (Maureen) Tierney. His great grandchildren Alexandria Poyfair, Zionna Belknap, Jacquelyn Bayless, Noel Brower, LauraLye Battisti, Isabel Mussmacher and Cora Tierney. His great great grandchildren Ozias McMikle and Ellianna Clark.

 

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.
