It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Christian Bomberg. Chris had been struggling with health issues for the last couple of years; however, his death was unexpected.

Chris was born in Los Angeles, CA, and lived in Long Beach until he moved with his family to Butte County when he was eleven. Chris will be remembered by his family and friends for his extraordinary interest in growing plants, especially tropical or unusual ones, his love for cooking, fishing, old movies, classic rock music, and long conversations. He also loved visiting mountains, lakes, rivers, and beaches, and he had a passion for reading, learning, and “treasure” collecting.

Chris was predeceased by his father Richard Bomberg. He is survived by his mother Margaret Bomberg of Chico, CA, his sisters Barbara O'Donnell of Forestville, CA, Diane Bomberg of Oakland, CA, Elizabeth Bomberg of Edinburgh, Scotland, his brother, Kirk Bomberg of Chico, CA, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. He will be forever loved and missed.
