Michael Phillips Hill, 67, of Pinellas Park passed away November 17, 2025 at HCA St. Petersburg Hospital.  Born in St. Petersburg, Michael moved to Dade City, FL at the age of 15 where he graduated from Pasco High School.  He enjoyed living in Dade City and he made many life-long friends during his years there.  He also lived in Tampa for many years before retiring to Pinellas Park.  Michael was preceded in death by his wonderful parents, Jim and Alice Hill.  He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah LeMonde, son and daughter-in-law Marshall Hill and Aimee Lovett, his two beautiful grandchildren Evan (10) and Abigail (4), his two brothers, Dan Hill and Tom Hill, his two sisters, Connie Marsalisi and Julie Dvoracsek, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Michael followed in his father's footsteps and worked as a Land Surveyor with C. Fred Deuel and Associates for nearly 40 years.  He liked working outdoors and was very good at his job.  He and Deborah loved to travel and Michael had a particular love for Scotland, where they went a couple times.  He and his wife, Deborah, raised orchids and were always on the hunt for a new variety of flower.  Michael could tell you everything you wanted to know about his orchids.  He also loved his cats and was always a friend to neighborhood strays, ensuring that they had love, fresh food, and water daily.  Michael loved music and along with Deborah, he followed his favorite band, NRBQ, all over the country, catching as many shows as they could.  Michael loved his family and his friends fiercely and he will be sorely missed.  There will be a private celebration of his life for family on Thanksgiving Day.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Friends of Strays St. Petersburg.
