Anna Iacobelli, 88, of Glassboro, NJ passed away at home on November 23, 2025.
A woman whose life was rooted in love, family and simple joys, Anna cherished every moment spent cooking for her family and finding joy and happiness in gathering everyone around her table. Her family was her greatest pride. Anna’s relationship with her husband, Daniel, was one marked by deep understanding, shared laughter and a bond that carried them through life’s seasons. Together they built a home filled with warmth, humor and the kind of companionship that is rare and treasured.
Anna found solace in the quiet times spent putting together puzzles, crocheting and sewing. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and was very involved in their lives. Anna enjoyed a good giggle with her family, which was usually preceded by a good bit of gossip. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories will be cherished forever.
She is survived by her 2 daughters, Deborah Pelley (Don) and Jacqueline Baxter (Chuck); 4 grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Kristen and Danielle (Jon); brother and sisters in law, Betty Brigandi, Lucille Singer (Jan), Theresa Lentini (the late Pete) and Jimmy Iacobelli (Doris); furry pals, Gus, Mowgli and Bennie. Anna is also survived by her extended family, nieces and nephews, and dear friends.
Anna is predeceased by her parents, Anthony and Caroline Brigandi, her husband Daniel Iacobelli and her siblings, Baby Frances, Joseph Brigandi and his wife Gloria, Frances Rosica and her husband Louis, Francis “Frank” Brigandi, Rosemarie Cordero and her husband Herman, Anthony Brigandi and Richard Brigandi.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at McGuinness Funeral Home, 573 Egg Harbor Road, Sewell, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Bridget University Parish, 125 Church Street, Glassboro, followed by entombment in All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
