Robert Peter Marro, born January 13, 1954, in Mineola, New York, passed away on November 20, 2025, in Tampa, Florida. He is survived by his children, Douglas and Melanie Marro; grandchildren, Cameron and Aria; ex-wife, Peggy Marro; parents, Ralph and Pearl Marro; and siblings, Ralph Marro, Keith Marro, Paul Marro, and Linda Tibbals. Robert graduated from Herricks High School in Searingtown, New York, and attended Nassau Community College in Long Island for two semesters. He spent 25 years working at Grumman assembling airplane parts, followed by 10 years as a postal clerk before retiring on disability. Known for his kindness, empathy, humor, motivation, hard work, loyalty, and ambition, Robert was a devoted Knicks fan who enjoyed fishing, golfing, riding motorcycles, and spending time with his family. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 1st, at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O’ Lakes Blvd., Land O’ Lakes, FL 34639, with a viewing from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by the service.
