Donne Marie Alewine White, 73, of Lexington, SC, died on November 26, 2025.  

She was born in Aiken, SC, on May 2, 1952, to the late Rev. James E. and Betty W. Alewine.  

Donne was a graduate of Winthrop College and a retired schoolteacher. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Lexington, SC.  

She is survived by her adoring children, William J. White, Joye E. White and Matthew G. White; brothers, J. Michael Alewine and J. Glenn Alewine, MD; an uncle, Alvin D. Wilson (Brenda); and numerous cherished and beloved cousins.  

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at Faith UMC, 5151 Sunset Blvd, Lexington, SC, 29072. The family will receive friends following the service. 

 Inurnment will take place at a later date.
