Cynthia (Cindy) Boring Jackson left this world to her Heavenly Home on November 26,2025.
Cynthia was born to James Oliver Boring of Bridgeport Texas, and Freida Pearl Crandell of Heber/Pinedale Arizona on June 3, 1963. Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, son, Terik Dane Rogers, 2 brothers, James Dean Carroll and Donnie Rue Boring, and 2 Sisters, Freida and Reida (Twins) Boring. She is survived by her husband, R David Jackson, 4 children, Tiana (Ross) Hunt, Tashina (Mike) Winchell, Trey Rogers, Triston (Rachael) Rogers, and 13 grandchildren whom she loved dearly.
Cindy was an educator and avid learner. She earned her BA in Elementary Education, with a minor in music from Northern Arizona University, her MAT in Teaching from Grand Canyon University, and her EdD in Educational leadership from University of Phoenix
She taught for 26 years in many areas, but mostly in Special Education. She loved teaching American Sign Language at the College level at Northland Pioneer College in Holbrook AZ and Salish Kootenai College in Pablo Montana and using her ASL knowledge in her Special Ed jobs.
Cindy had a love for music. She was in many choirs, performances and dances. She even was working to become a square dance caller.
She had many callings serving in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints including American Sign Language temple worker, Primary Presidency (numerous times), YW Presidency, Stake RS Presidency, Choir/Music Director-numerous times, Cub Scout leader, Nursery, Activity Day leader, RS teacher, Gospel Doctrine teacher, Primary teacher and anything else the Lord called her to do.
Cindy always strived to be a good example of the Savior’s love and choose the right, though she was the first to say she was not perfect. She will be watching and waiting on the other side to see her family and friends when it is their time to join our Heavenly Home.
Funeral Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 1111 E Knox Rd, Tempe AZ on December 12th at 11 AM and a graveside Service and interment on December 13th at the Joseph City AZ Cemetery at 11 AM
Cindy asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be given to The Gray Matters Foundation. (graymattersfoundation.org/donate/)
