Yasuko Ishii Bell, 98, of Lexington, SC, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025 at her home surrounded by those who loved her. Known for her warmth, her joyful energy, and open heart that welcomed everyone she met. Yasuko lived a long and remarkable life filled with laughter, adventure, and deep affection for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clair J. Bell. She leaves behind a loving family: daughters, Margaret Benton (Lee) of Lexington, SC, Linda Lopez of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Irene Dawkins (Gene) of St. Matthew's, SC, her son, John Bell (Carla) of Rocky Mount, NC, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends for visitation on December 5, 2025 from 2:00-3:00 at Thompson Funeral Home, 845 Leesburg Rd., Columbia, SC. Funeral services to follow at 3:00.
