Timothy Baumgard, age 37, passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2025. He was born on January 29, 1988, in Jefferson, WI. Tim was a loving son, brother, uncle, and loyal friend—someone you could always count on during the hardest moments of life. He had a quiet strength, a sharp mind, and a heart that was always willing to help. Those who knew Tim knew that if something needed fixing, learning, or figuring out, he was already on it. He fearlessly taught himself electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, and concrete while working on his properties—so long as the job didn’t require climbing more than two steps on a ladder. Tim had an inseparable bond with his late dog, Wrex, who was truly his constant companion. He also had a deep love for the German language, technology, and gaming. Exceptionally intelligent with all thing's tech, Tim was the go-to person for family and friends whenever something needed troubleshooting or upgrading. His passion for video games—especially nostalgic retro games and music—brought him immense joy. As a brother, he was unwaveringly loyal and was always quick to “back up the facts” during any family squabble. Most of all, Tim loved his family, friends, and his beloved Wrex with his whole heart. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and reassurance, and his absence leaves an immeasurable void. He is survived by his parents, Chris Sukow (Dennis) and Tom Baumgard (Cindi); his grandmother, Janet Baumgard; his sisters, Kim Thony (Paul) and Jennifer Schmidt (Clint); his brothers, Russell Baumgard and Steven Baumgard (Denise); and his nephews and niece, Benjamin Schmidt, Paxton Thony, Theo Baumgard, and Stella Baumgard, and a host of relatives and friends. Tim was preceded in death by his Grandma Gladys Vogel, Grandpa Leland Baumgard, Uncle Dan Smillie, Braeden Thony, and his beloved dog Wrex. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 5, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. until the start of services at 7:00 p.m. at Schneider-Michaelis Funeral Home, 900 W. Racine Street, Jefferson, WI 53549. Burial services will be held privately.
