Fred Eugene Wheeler Sr. of Summerville, SC, age 87, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at home in Agape Hospice Care surrounded by family. He was born May 21, 1938 to the late Fred M.and Helen Wheeler. 

He is a veteran of the United States Navy, which included duties as an Xray Technician at the Naval Hospital in Charleston SC and a Physicians Asst.(PA) at Camp Lejeune, NC. He enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and was a great handyman at fixing most things. He always had a Honey Do List. He is preceded in death by his wife Catherine (Honey) Wheeler, a brother Ronnie Wheeler and a stepson Greg G. Peralta. He leaves loving cherished memories to two children, Wendy Yorty (Randy) of Pendleton SC and Fred Wheeler Jr (Rebecca) of Reading Michigan, four stepchildren Karen Abdon (George) of Goose Creek SC, Crispolo Peralta (C.C.) and Jeff Peralta both of Summerville SC and Susan Ramey of Loganville GA.  11 adult grandkids, 19 great grands and a host of nieces and nephews. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday, December 11 @ 2pm, First Church of God,10383 US-78, Summerville SC. Family will receive visitors and friends in the fellowship hall.
