Gerald Robert “Bob” Linke, age 68, died peacefully surrounded by family in his home in Saint Paul on November 20 after a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. Survived by wife, Julie (née Bailey); children, Benjamin (Olivia) and Sarah; brother-in-law Timothy Bailey; niece, Amelia Bailey Czarnecki; father, Gerald Paul Linke; sister Christine Compton; and nephews, Jeremy, Scott, and Michael Compton. Preceded in death by mother, Patricia (Petrasek); brothers, Eugene and Michael; and brother-in-law Loren Compton. Private interment at Resurrection Cemetery on December 9, 2025.
