Dolores "Mima" Carrillo June 8, 1949 - November 25, 2025

Dolores “Mima” Carrillo 76, entered into eternal and everlasting peace on November 25, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Rogelio A. Carrillo; her sons Raphael Carrillo and Ruben Carrillo; her mother Catalina S. Garcia; and her brothers Martin Salas and Antonio Salas.

She is survived by her children Christine Carrillo, Rachel Delao, and Rogelio Carrillo Jr.; her brothers Armando Salas, Juan Salas, and Daniel Salas; as well as eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply. Her legacy will continue to be honored and cherished by each of them.

Dolores was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister-in-law, aunt, and beloved mother-in-law whose love touched every part of her family. A retired preschool teacher, she had a true passion for working with children and took great joy in shaping young minds.

Creative and talented, Dolores enjoyed crafting, sewing, reading, working on miniatures, and cooking—specially making tortillas for her loved ones. She was strong, independent, and courageous, facing every challenge with unwavering grace. Whether changing a tire, putting up sheetrock, or handling day-to-day tasks, she lived life with remarkable resilience.

Dolores adored her grandchildren and created cherished memories singing and dancing the playful Punki Chunki song with them. Her classy, dignified presence, paired with her strong and loving nature, made her a well-respected and cherished woman throughout her community.

Her legacy of love, strength, and kindness will live forever in the hearts of all who knew her.
