Lee Edward Fulmer, 76 of St. Petersburg, passed away December 4th, 2025 at home, peacefully in his sleep succumbing to a short battle with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. He was born and raised in St. Petersburg and graduated from Lakewood High School in 1967. After high school, he entered the Air Force where he served as an E4 Senior Airman for 4 years from 1969-1973. He graduated from the University of South Florida with a degree in accounting and worked for General Screen Printing and was a CPA at General Dynamics.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents John and Alice Fulmer, and sister Patricia Carlson. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Kathie, his 3 children - Jason Fulmer (Wife - Meagan A.), Christopher Fulmer, and Meagan E. Fulmer, his adoring grandchildren - Payton, Baylee, Jack and Cate, and his nephew Jay Carlson.
Lee was considered by many to be very selfless and giving. He coached at Northwest Little League and spent 20+ years with the Challenger Division at Azalea Little League. He considered that working with these children and families was one of his greatest accomplishments in life. He volunteered for The Optimist Club, working many First Friday events, and was a member of St. Paul’s Knights of Columbus Council # 13657. He also enjoyed giving his time cooking and grilling for Northwest Elementary and Nina Harris ESE Center at their yearly back to school events.
Lee, in his retirement years, loved to travel and take on new adventures. He went skydiving, white water rafting down the Grand Canyon, dog sledding in Breckenridge, saw Stonehenge and the Eiffel Tower in Europe, and even took in a few Cubs games at Wrigley Field!
Lee will be remembered for many things, not the least of which were the way he could make any short story long, his tremendous smile, and the way he could make anyone laugh with his anecdotes and bad dad jokes. He will however be missed mostly because he was the epitome of what a Man of God is supposed to be - he was selfless and very giving of his time. He always wanted to help those in need. The world was a better place because Lee was in it.
Lee’s charm and spirit will always be remembered! His visitation service will be Sunday, December 14th at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home from 5-7pm. His funeral mass will take place on Monday, December 15th at 10:30am at St. Paul's Catholic Church (1800 12th St N). Celebration of Life to follow shortly after mass at Lake Seminole Park, Shelter 5 at 12:30pm.
