Jamilou was a friend, and trailblazer in her community, passed away peacefully on November 23rd 2025 at the age of 82.

Born with an independent spirit and a fierce love of adventure, Jamliou found her life’s calling in the rumble of an engine and the freedom of the open road. She turned that passion into a legacy when she and her husband Jim opened Jim’s Harley Davidson. Her Harley-Davidson dealership, which for decades served as a gathering place for riders from every walk of life. Under her leadership, the shop became more than a business—it became a family. She welcomed newcomers with the same warmth and respect she offered lifelong friends, always ready with expert advice, a quick laugh, or a story from one of her many rides.

Jamilou was a avid animal lover, Never without her Chihuahuas. She sponsored various local Animal rescues.

Known for her steady determination and generous heart, Jamilou championed charitable rides, supported veterans’ groups, and helped countless young riders find confidence on two wheels. Her presence at community events—leather jacket, bright smile, and unmistakable confidence—was always a sign that things were in good hands.

Above all, Jamilou cherished her family and employees whose love never wavered and whose guidance will be forever remembered. Her family and friends takes comfort in knowing she is now riding free on endless highways, surrounded by peace.

She is preceded in Death by her mother and grandmother and her beloved husband Jim.

Celebration of her life will be held at Anderson McQueen Funeral Home on 22nd Ave. and 9th St. on Sunday, December 14th, 2025 at 11:00, with a memorial ride to follow in her honor. All who knew her—or simply admired her passion for the open road—are welcome to join.

Her legacy will continue to echo in every engine rev, every winding mile, and every rider she inspired. Ride on,Jamilou. ~~~
