Felina Pilcher, 54 passed away on November 19, 2025 surrounded by the love of her family. She was born September 12, 1971 in Oberlin Kansas to her parents Edward Pilcher and Linda Montoya Pilcher she was 6 months old when the family moved to Fort Morgan Colorado where she grew up. Felina attended Ft Morgan schools and graduated Ft Morgan High School in 1989, later settling in Denver Colorado. Felina lived a life marked by resilience, deep compassion, and an unshakable devotion to those she loved.
Felina was proud of her academic accomplishments. She attended Northeastern Junior College and the University of Northern Colorado, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Her dedication to her education reflected her lifelong passion for understanding and helping others. This same empathy defined the way she moved through the world—always ready to listen, support, and uplift.
Felina was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her cherished children, Maiya Bryant and Jamille Humphrey, along with her treasured granddaughter, Nevaeh Blue, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her father and stepmother, Edward and Louise Pilcher; her brothers Jeremiah and Nathan Pilcher; and her sisters Rita Jaurigui (Joe), Marlinda Cervantes (Angel), Cha Fadeyi (Steven), and Dianna Pilcher. Felina’s life was enriched by countless nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives she touched with her warmth and generosity.
Felina is preceded in death by her loving mother, Linda Mendoza, whose memory remained close to her heart throughout her life.
Felina had many joys, but her greatest love was her family. She cherished laughter, a good trip down memory lane, and the comfort of gathering together. She loved to travel, and she found peace and joy near the water—drawn to the ocean in a way that seemed to restore her spirit. She also had a deep affection for Mexican food, especially green posole, a favorite that always brought her comfort.
One of her most cherished moments was watching her son Jamille’s final football game in Durango, Colorado. Sitting proudly beside her daughter and granddaughter, Felina watched with tears of pride in her eyes as she supported him on the field. Moments like these—filled with love, unity, and gratitude—were the heart of who she was.
Felina’s warmth, strength, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her legacy lives on through her family and the countless lives she influenced with her compassion, humor, and generous spirit.
May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the love she gave so freely.
