With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Abel Garcia, who left us on November 20, 2025, just days shy of his 41st birthday. Born in Caldwell, Idaho, on November 23, 1984, Abel lived a life characterized by warmth, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to those he loved. 

A proud graduate of Caldwell High School in 2002, Abel distinguished himself as a devoted student, graduating with honors, where he also shared his musical talent, playing guitar in a band that brought joy to his friends and family. His love for music was only rivaled by his devotion to his daughter, Seraphina, who was born on May 10, 2011. Abel cherished the moments spent and raised her with unwavering love and dedication. 

As a caretaker with a local home health agency, Abel exemplified what it meant to serve others. His dedication to improving the lives of those in need highlighted his generous nature. Friends and family will remember him not just for his kindness but also for the loyalty he showed to those he cared about.  

Abel is survived by his cherished daughter, Seraphina; his beloved mother, Michelle Serna; and a loving sister, Sophie Serna. He is also remembered fondly by his nieces and nephews, who brought him immense joy. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Delores Griffiths, who now watches over him.  

A memorial service honoring Abel's life will take place at Summers Funeral Home, located at 3629 E Ustick Rd, Meridian, ID, on December 11, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Friends and family are invited to come together to celebrate a life filled with kindness and compassion, reflecting on the memories that Abel created and the love he shared.  

In remembering Abel Garcia, we hold fast to his legacy of generosity, loyalty, and love, ensuring that his spirit remains alive in our hearts. Though he has departed, the light he brought into our lives will continue to inspire us to embrace one another with the same warmth and kindness he exemplified every day.
