Anthony Dean Mills, 60, husband of Mirella Mills, father of Rollie and Alex Mills, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was born November 16, 1965, in Valparaiso, Indiana, to Hubertina Bodden and Rollie Mills. To his friends and loved ones, he was simply known as Tony.

An avid outdoorsman from an early age, Tony found peace under open skies and joy in every adventure—whether fishing in tranquil lakes or, later in life, enjoying the pristine waters of Greece. He was also a fierce competitor and a talented athlete, proudly playing football for the University of Kentucky where he forged lifelong friends and unforgettable memories.

A lifelong entrepreneur, Tony poured his energy and creativity into every venture he pursued. He distilled and distributed bourbon, built restaurants from the ground up, mentored Kentuckians of all ages, and owned thoroughbred horses, a passion that brought him great joy. He built a career defined by hard work, integrity, and generosity.

To those fortunate enough to know him, Tony was many things: a brother, a mentor, a friend. He is remembered for his gentle smile, his infectious laugh, and his remarkable ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Everyone who crossed his path felt the warmth of his kindness and the light of his spirit.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the countless lives he touched and the memories we will hold very close. He was, and always will be, our hero. He is survived by his wife, Mirella; his sons, Rollie Mills and Alex Mills; his future daughter in law Claire Rowlands; his Greek family; and his sister, Lisa Mills. He leaves behind a legacy of grace, empathy, and unwavering devotion to family.

A celebration of Tony’s life will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025, at 12 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center, Brannon Crossing. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until the start of the service.
