Raymond “Ray” William Jacoby passed away on December 7th, 2025 in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Raymond “Ray” William Jacoby was born on August 22, 1931, to William A. Jacoby and Mary Kathrine Haas. He was the second of two children. Ray grew up in Windsor, Colorado, and graduated from Windsor High School in 1950, where he enjoyed wood working, gardening, school dances, and dutch hop.
During the Korean War, Ray proudly served his country in the United States Navy.
On June 1, 1956, Ray married the love of his life, Janice Larsen, in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The two first met on a blind date arranged by mutual friends, beginning a partnership that would last nearly seven decades. They welcomed their daughter, Jana Rae, on November 22, 1958, in Cheyenne.
Ray is survived by his wife of 69½ years, Janice of Fort Collins, CO; his daughter, Jana Parker (Ken Parker) of Fort Collins, CO; two granddaughters, Katherine Shaw (Marty Shaw) of Fort Collins, CO and Lisa Bedell (Ryan Bedell) of Fenton, MO; and one expected great-grandchild of Fenton, MO.
Ray's memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on January 9th, 2026 at the Faith Church in Windsor, Colorado. Immediately following the service, a luncheon will be held in the church. Ray's burial will be held at 1:30 p.m. on January 9th, 2026 in the Lakeview Cemetery Columbarium in Windsor, Colorado.
