Brenda Bowen Knight, 72, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, passed away December 8, 2025, at Magnolia Manor of Rock Hill, South Carolina. She was born on September 27, 1953 in Bennettsville, South Carolina to Norman and Lillie (Pate) Bowen.
Brenda loved music, socializing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by daughter, Carolyn (Wallace) McManus; son, Christopher Knight; grandchildren, Sabrina McCray, Andrew McManus, Madison McManus, Cali-Marie Knight, Claire Knight, Caroleina Knight, and Kerrigan Faith Knight; brother, Larry (Pam) Bowen; sisters, Annie (Richard) Shimel, Lillie (Grady) Ransom, Becky Bowen, Nancy (Joseph) Brown, and Betty (Charles) Williams; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Frankie Bowen and Willis McKenzie; sisters, Shirley Pate and Edna Mae Bowen; and ex-husband/life companion, James Knight.
The family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home on Saturday December 13th from 10am-12pm.
