Steven Jungers, age 77, entered into eternal rest on November 20, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. He was born on August 22, 1948, in Gibbon, Minnesota, to Clara and Earl Jungers, who have preceded him in death.

Steve was a kind and joyful man who lived a full and meaningful life marked by service, hard work, and devotion to those he loved. He proudly served in the United States Army as a Sergeant during the Vietnam War, earning several honors, including the Army Commendation Medal and four Bronze Stars. After returning home, he built a long and respected career in the aerospace manufacturing industry, retiring in 2005 from his role as a crew leader.

He found great joy in the simple things—John Deere tractors, baseball games, fishing trips, classic cars, and tending to his garden, especially his cherished roses and tomatoes. These interests reflected his steady, down-to-earth nature and his love for spending time with others.

Steven is survived by his brothers, Dave and Mike Jungers; his niece, Heather Thompson; and his brother-in-law, Ron Kruggel of Minnesota. He was also a deeply treasured member of his “adopted Colorado family”—the Echeverrias, the Rabies, and the Stanleys—who held a special place in his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his sister Susan Kruggel and his nephew Matt Kruggel.

Full military honors will be held for Mr. Jungers at Fort Logan National Cemetery on December 29th at 11:30 a.m.
