Mr. Frankland Delano Nabors, age 89, a resident of Auburndale, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale surrounded by family. Mr. Nabors was born December 15, 1935, in Blountsville, Alabama to James Roy and Flossie May (Brown) Nabors. He was an Auburndale resident since the 1960’s coming from Alabama, a retired Warehouse Distribution Manager for Coca Cola and a United States Army Veteran. Frank was a member of Orange Street Church of Christ in Auburndale, where he was a Deacon for 28 years and took care of the church grounds & maintenance. He enjoyed gardening, crosswords, sports and loved spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 60 years – Peggy Nabors; 2 sisters – Frances Copeland and Libby Littleton; 2 brothers in law – Charles Copeland and Lancaster Littleton. Mr. Nabors is survived by his loving & devoted family, 3 daughters – Kelley (Mitch) Callender, Karen (Michael) Thompson and Kim (Matt) Faneuf; sister – Bobbie Quick; 4 granddaughters – Ashley (Cecil) Moran, Amanda (Hector) Rivera, Rebecca (Jonathan) Young and Morgan (Jay) Roberts; 10 gt grandchildren – Ansley, Addison, Kalen, Liliana, Dominic, Aurelia, Declan, Lucila, Joshua and Caleb; many loved nieces, nephews and dear special friends he regarded as daughter’s. In lieu of flowers donations in Mr. Nabor’s name may be made to either, Orange Street Church of Christ, 310 Orange St., Auburndale, FL. 33823 OR Good Shepherd Hospice, 405 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL. 33823. Funeral services will 2pm Friday, December 12th at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
