Kevin Victor Rodriguez, born December 5, 1987 in Brooklyn, New York, passed away on November 29, 2025 in Aiken, South Carolina where he lived.
Kevin was an Army Veteran of the Iraqi War. He achieved his Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. He attended Incarnation Catholic School in Tampa, Pine View Middle School in Land O' Lakes, and Land O' Lakes High School. Kevin also attended ITT Technical Institute in Tampa, where he majored in Criminal Justice. He also made the Dean's List during his two years at ITT with a GPA of 4.0.
Kevin was an Alter Server during his years at Incarnation Catholic School.
Kevin wrote poetry and taught himself to play the guitar and piano. He loved God and enjoyed reading the Bible. Kevin was very generous, humble, and kindhearted. He is survived by his mother, Helen Strakos, his stepfather, Ben Strakos, his aunts, uncles, cousins, and two step brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at Loyless Funeral Homes, 5310 Land O' Lakes Blvd., Land O' Lakes, Florida 34639. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at 10:30am at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 2348 Collier Pkwy., Land O' Lakes, Florida 34639. Interment services will follow at 1:00pm at Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, Florida 33513.
